We work differently than most creative companies. We don't just throw a bunch of design mock-ups at you and hope you like one of them. We first get to know who you are, how you got started, and what challenges you want to overcome.
It's a simple fact that our clients invest a lot in us, so it only makes sense that we do the same for them. That said, working with us relies heavily on trust and letting us do what we do best.

This is why we do a deep dive into research on your business, sector, and peers to fully understand your needs within the website's structure, user journey, and aesthetic.

Lithium starts making great websites by really getting to know your business and what you want your website to do. There are no shortcuts to knowing your business and what you want your website to do.
We will ask you questions to find out and understand your image, goals, budget, target audience and markets, content specifications, reference sites and partners, materials, design assets, and desired results.
At this point, we will tell you everything you need to know. We'll also give you a personal login to your customer portal, which is where we share requirements and store all the assets for your project, so you can access them at any time, no matter where you are.
OUR DESIGN PROCESS
DISCOVER
Once we know what you want, we can start making plans for how we will make it happen. We'll make a plan of how your site is put together, including cover pages, indexes, sections, and pages, as well as how they link to each other. We will make a living, breathing document (called a "functional specification") that describes what your site must do, how it will do those things, and how we will keep track of what it does.
This document will have an SEO framework for keywords and phrases that you can use all over your site to get the best possible organic ranking on Google.
MAP & PLAN
Remember, content is king! If you already have a website, you'll already have written content, so we'll make sure it fits your chosen SEO framework. If you don't have a website, we'll help you make one.
We can help you write content from scratch. This can be a time-consuming process, so you may want to hire a copywriter or try it yourself. We're here to help you every step of the way. We will even help you put together your website's Privacy, Cookie, and Terms and Conditions policies, as well as the EU website cookie consent banner.
CONTENT
We will get our creative ideas flowing, which results in us quickly mocking up your site, often referred to as a "wireframe.” Choices about page layout, font type, size, and colour palettes are usually already completed as part of the brand guidelines document we produce for you. We'll do research, try things out, and figure out what best gets your website's goals across to the people you want to reach.
We will go over the wireframe with you and make changes to it before starting the full build. We won't start the full build until you say it's okay.
DESIGN
During your website's construction and build phase, we hide under a rock and work hard to make our vision come to life. Don't worry; we'll keep in touch with you because we'll often have things for you to look over.
Our build process is a collaborative affair; we find this gets the best results in the shortest amount of time and with the most incredible sense of achievement; after all, it's your website.
This means you can see and feel your new site’s infancy behind a secure wall in a development environment. This means we can do away with wireframes and work together in real time, which will greatly cut down on delivery times and costs.
BUILD
Once Google has indexed your site and everyone is happy with it, we will put it on the world wide web so everyone can see, use, and play on it. Don't worry; we will not just walk away at this point; we will be available for help, advice, and assistance.

LAUNCH
When your website goes live, it's time to tell everyone about it. We do this by listing your website on index sites, social media platforms, community forums, and review sites as part of a program.
We'll send your sitemap and index to Google so that their bots can crawl and index your site and start showing you up in search engine results (SERP) pages.
